In 1826 a new flag and this 3 colored flag was also kept as an alternative by Jose Joseparpar. In 1842 when he died they did not use the 3 colored and the new flag was blue colored with a 6 point star in the left corner on the upper side of the flag.

In November 1842 this present flag was introduced by the Government. Ever since then there have been minor changes made in them.
